♥ Updated What's in My Bag! Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Fran shoulder bag! ♥

I got a Marc By Marc Jacobs Handbag! I have fallen in love....

Anyway Hi! Today I am going to do an updated what's in my handbag, I am doing an updated post for two reasons. Reason one - I got a Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag! (If you didn't already guess!) Reason two - I don't like my last post! It's just not good enough! So shall we jump into the post ...

Firstly I will tell you about my new handbag, It's by Marc by Marc Jacobs and is called the Classic Fran Q Shoulder Bag in Cinnamon Stick . It is made out of "genuine Italian leather", so it looks and feels more amazing! And on the front of the bag is a little signature gold plaque that most Marc by Marc Jacobs bags have, under that at the bottom of the bag is four cute pleats. Also on the front of the bag are really cute finishing touches like the little Marc Jacobs bolts an the shape under the bolts (I love them so much it convinced me to get that bag! A bit sad and pathetic I know!) The bag has two straps a shorter handle and a long strap, normally I just leave the strap sitting over the front of the bag as it gives it a nice look.

Inside the bag is the signature Marc Jacobs lining, with the zip pocket and two small open pockets, for fastening there is a very strong magnetic button at the top then under that us a tan strap with a gold catch. I would say it's a good everyday size, you quite fit a very big makeup bag which is actually a good thing because I have down sized everything I carry so that it isn't to heavy, and it fit everything I need to carry nicely but I wouldn't say its a bag that is big enough to travel with! I bought it from Harvey Nichols almost a month ago but couldn't find it on their website so instead here is a link to Selfridges.

So what's in my bag?

My mobile
iPod touch

Make-up bag
(post coming soon)
Hairbrush (s)

(please note umbrella underneath sunglasses, only in the uk!)
Diary & pen

Little pink emergency bag!
(e.g paracetamols, magalieve, tampons, bar of chocolate, hair clip ect)

Little bottle of juice

This is what I normally have in my bag day to day, but it does change. I try to keep what I carry to a minimum due to the fact I can put everything including the kitchen sink in my bag and it weigh me down for the entire day! Thanks for reading, and tell me what kind of bag you have!

♥ Carly Rae Jepsen – “Good Time” Music Video Inspired Make-up & Hair ♥

Carly Rae Jepsen has amazing style and always pulls her look and outfits off with ease, and I really loved her look in one of her most recent music videos, so I thought I would give it a bash and show you my inspired look. You probably already have seen/heard this song but if not click below for the video.

Her look in the video is trendy, unique and easy going (I would say). I am only going to show you how to recreate her hair and make-up because I could do her outfit justice! So shall I start? …

Today I am not using a primer, just so it gives the foundation a different feel. So I am jumping straight into concealer. MAC – Pro Longwear Concealer – NW15 I am covering any blemishes or problem areas. I then use Collection 2000 – Lasting Perfection Concealer to cover dark lines underneath my eyes. I am doing this because Carly has very clear looking skin! (Jealous!)

Carly doesn't look like she has much foundation on therefore I am using a light foundation which is buildable if you need more coverage. I am using MAC - Face and Body Foundation with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Then Carly skin looks matte (e.g not shiny/oily), so I am using MAC - Blot Powder with a large fluffy brush and I am buffing it in to my skin.
I wasn't to sure what Carly had on her cheeks, it defiantly looks like she has a light blush on - I was stuck between Benefit - Dandelion Blush and MAC - CremeBlend Blush - LadyBlush. I decided for MAC - CremeBlend Blush - LadyBlush I just felt it went better but if your re-creating this look then you can decide!

I loved the looks of Carly's cheekbones - she has a really nice golden highlight on. Using my fingers I am blending Jemma Kidd – Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Crème – Iced Gold, into my cheekbones.

Using my favourite eye primer Urban Decay - Eye Shadow Primer Potion, blend this across your lids and under your eyes. This will help keep any of your eye products on for a longer time and cover any dis-colouration and veins.

I am applying a light gray eyeshadow from Elf - 32 Piece Eye Shadow (all eye shadows used are from this palette), and applying it all over my lid. Then used a darker gray I am putting it into my crease using an angled brush then with a fluffy buffing brush (Mac #224) I am blending out any harsh lines and making it look more natural...(since gray is such a natural colour! lol). Using the same darker gray using an angled brush I am putting this on my lower lash line, I am using a eyeshadow instead of eye liner because in the photo it looks like a soft line not a harsh line which a liner would create! And with a light creamy colour I am highlighting my inner corner and my brow bone.
I could tell that Carly had eye liner on, but I wasn't sure what kind of eye liner, so I thought what would I use on her and first thing I thought was MAC - FluidLine in Blacktrack. So using an angled brush I am following my lash line and making a think to medium line (depends on your eye shape).

I am then curling my eyelashes and coating them with NYC – High Definition Volume Mascara – Carbon. Carly proberly would have had false eyelashes on so that they are more noticeable on camera but since I don't have any to hand and my eyelashes are naturally long I am going without!

Carly has a natural lip colour and I couldn't decide if she has lipstick on the had a glossy finish or just lipgloss or both! So I thought let's just do both! I am using a limited edition lipstick but there are many colours similar. I an applying MAC - Innocence Beware! Straight from the tube the applying a little bit of Clinque - Long Last Glosswear - Air Kiss, I am only using a little bit as the finish of the lipstick is a cremesheen so its already glossy!

First I washed my hair then dried it (Products Below), then I split my hair into sections and started curling my hair with my Instyler 3 in 1 Rotating Styling System, once I have curled all of my hair- using the comb the styling system came with I am brushing the curls out to create loose curls. I then set the curls using my Wella - Silvikrin Hairspray. And it's that simple!

Today I am doing a joint tag with one of my good friends within the blogging community, Kirsty from PrettyLittleFashionista. I recently did a guest post for her and we decided we wanted to do a post together but we weren't sure what do do! ♥ My new Skin Care Routine! - August 12 ♥

One of my most viewed posts on this blog is my skin care routine, and since that has changed I thought it was very important to update you all! So I'll jump right into it ...

I have been trying a new routine for just under a month and all ready, I'm loving it! The main reasons I wanted to try something new was because I didn't think it was improving my skin greatly, I thought theres better stuff out there and it was expensive for what it is!

Exfoliation & Mask

To exfoliate I use a three in one products Neutrogena - Visibly Clear - Blackhead Eliminating Triple Action Cleanser (wow), I love this so much because it's a three in one! It has a daily scrub, daily wash and a weekly mask, to achieve each you simply use it a different way e.g leave it on for longer or apply more.

To take of my make-up I switch between two products Asda - Protect Deep Cleansing Face Wipes  and Neutrogena - Visibly Clear - Blackhead Eliminating Cleansing Lotion (that's a mouth full!), and when I use the Neutrodena cleansing lotion, I'll use Simple Eye Make-up Remover. Both with cotton pads also from asda.

For an everyday moisturiser I use Neutrogena - Visibly Clear - Oil-free Moisturiser, this feels amazing on my skin and I have noticed that my skin doesn't look dry.
Spot Control

In the past month and a bit, I have had quite bad ance and I believe it's my hairspray that's been causing it as the spots are on my forehead and side of my face. I have now stopped using the hairspray and hope it gets better. To clear the spot ups I have been using the same range, Neutrogena - Visibly Clear - Rapid Clear Treatment.

I do like these products, as I said last time, I could still perfect it but as of now I much prefer this and it is much cheaper! All products cost the same as my moisturiser from my last skin care routine! Do
you use these products? Or would you like to recommend any products? If so, comment below!
