Selena Gomez Inspired Make-Up Tutorial || KCA14

A few weeks ago the Kids Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles, and of course as I scanning photos of the orange carpet for make-up inspiration and even though Selena Gomez didn't walk the carpet she was there and she did pick up an award. I loved her make-up it was soft and dewy with gold eyeshadow and fluttery lashes along side a peachy pink cheek and lip. Here the products I used to recreate the look and how I did it...
Face -

Laura Mercier - Oil-Free Foundation Primer
Mac - Studio Sculpt Foundation
Benefit - High Beam Highlighter
Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer
Mac - Prep & Prime Highlighter in Radiant Rose
Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder
Nars - Laguna Bronzer
Benefit - Hoola Bronzer
Benefit - Coralista Blush

Eyes -

Mac - Painterly Paint Pot
Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette - Half Baked e/s
Mac - Wedge & Charcoal Brown Eyeshadow
Soap & Glory - Smoulder Kohl in Cocoa Bean
Maybelline - The Falsies Black Drama Mascara
The Vintage Cosmetic Company - Gracie False Eyelashes

Brows -

Mac - Omega & Charcoal Brown Eyeshadow
Maybelline - Brow Drama in Dark Brown

Lips -

Mac - Plink! Lipstick
Nyx - Mega Shine Lipgloss in Nude Pink

Face - Selenas skin is very tanned and dewy, sadly I am not tanned but I have made my foundation look dewy but mixing some high beam into my foundation - now don't go crazy with this stuff, a little goes a long way! She also has completely flawless skin so I am faking that by using a medium to full coverage foundation which is studio sculpt. I am then concealing any problem area with my beloved Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer. For under the eyes I am using two concealer so that I look really awake and so there is no discolouration. To set everything in place I am using a pressed powder but I am only use a little bit as I want to set the make-up but I want to keep the dewy effect. Selena doesn't have an intense contour but I defiantly want to add a bit to define my face so I am using Benefit - Hoola lightly along my cheekbones, temples and jawline. As Selena is looking very bronzed I am using Nars Laguna (which I recently review ) all around my face where I put the hoola and using whatever is left on my brush through the centre of my face to even the colour out. She has a muted coral pink on her cheeks but it defiantly has a sheen to it so I am using Benefit - Coralista which is the perfect blush with a bit more of high beam along my cheekbones and cupids bow to finish the look off.

Eyes- For a base I used Mac's Painterly Paint Pot, then using a mac #224 brush I used wedge as my transition colour in my crease. I used half baked e/s from urban decay 3/4 of the way across my lid and all around my eye. Selena defiantly went to town on the gold eyeshadow around the eye so don't be afraid just make sure to blend so it's not to harsh. You can't see Selena's eye make-up that well especially since she didn't walk the carpet but she defiantly had a darker colour in her outer crease. To darken the look I am using charcoal brown and blending it out. I am then put a thin line of brown pencil along my upper and lower lash line, not a lot but just enough to fill the space - I am only putting this about 3/4 of the way along my upper lash line as you can tell Selena doesn't have any liner in her inner corner. I am putting some mascara on my upper and lower lashes and then finishing the eyes of with some lashes that are full and gives the lashes both length and volume.

Brows - Selena has quite straight eyebrows and they're not overly groomed. I filled my eyebrows in with omega and then I used the darker colour charcoal brown on the outer part of my brows - using two colours makes it look more natural. I then sealed my brows in place with Maybelline - Brow Drama.

Lips - Selena kept her lips simple and glossy with just a light peachy pink lipstick - I used Plink! with is a seashell pink and its a lustre finish so its quite sheer. Her lips are also very glossy, I used Nyx mega shine lipgloss in nude pink which is really more of a peachy pink - which is the perfect colour for this look!

If you would like to see a photo of Selena at the kca's, there is one on my instagram (link in the sidebar or at bowsandbecki). I hope you enjoyed and if you would like me to re-create a specific look then you can comment below or tweet me @BowsBeautyB and I'll be happy to re-create! Thanks for Reading!

What's on my Face #3 // Simple Eyes & Coral Lips

I am coming to you today with another "What's on my Face" post I started these at the end of last summer and keep planning on doing them, I even begin writing them but never finish! I am trying to get back to what kind of posts I love to do and since this I am a total make-up geek naturally I love showing you what make-up I'm loving and wearing.

MAC - Face & Body Foundation
MAC - Studio Finish Concealer
Rimmel - Stay Matte Powder
Nars - Laguna Bronzer
Benefit - Coralista
Laura Mercier - Radiance Baked Powder - Highlight 01

Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette - Foxy & Tease
Maybelline - Eye Studio Gel Liner - 01 Black
Maybelline - The Falsies Black Drama Mascara

YSL - Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 13 Peach Passion

Most of these products are my must have products and some of them I have been using for years. Face & Body foundation is really quite amazing! You have to try it, after the first use you will use it forever (on and off of course as we can't leave the other foundations lying in our beauty drawers!) Defiantly the most versatile foundation out there! Nars Laguna is a new addition and it defiantly is as good as every one says it is! For my eyes I kept it very simple with foxy all over my eyelid and I've also used it as my brow bone highlight, for definition in my crease I used tease - which I also used it on my lower lash line. And you can't forget the gel liner and mascara to make your lashes stand out. For my peachy coral lips I used my favourite YSL - Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Peach Passion, I love this colour it is perfect for spring and summer - which it is in my head even though it really isn't!

I also have to add that, you may notice that my blog has had a little bit of a make-over! I have had about five makeover of my blogs that I've had. Three on this one alone! What can I say I get board easily and we'll I've never totally loved everything about my blog. So I took it on my self and did the entire thing - even the coding all by myself. I have to say I really am proud of myself and what I've created and I suppose the saying is true - If you want something done right, do it yourself! I'd love to know what you think of my new design!

Do you like any of the products I used?

New Years Eve Make-Up // Half Baked & Charcoal Brown

I have never really been one to celebrate New Years Eve but I do love the fact that you can go all out with the sparkles and glitter and it's allowed (within reason of course!) Often you want to start the New Year looking your best so we tend to go that little extra step to look our best. A lot of time will go into your make-up, hair, nails and of course your outfit. I am going to show you a make-up look which would be very similar to what I would wear if I was doing something exciting but I properly going to do something very casual - if I do anything at all! Any way let's get into this as it's going to be a long one so you might want to get a cuppa tea!

I am going to start with clean moisturised skin, I am then going to use a primer as New Years Night is probably going to be a long one and you'll need your make-up to withstand all the fun! I am using Rimmel - Fix & Perfect Pro Primer - its quite think but I love how it's quite think and really helps your products last and go on easily.

For concealer I am using my trusted Collection - Lasting perfection Concealer on any blemishes and under my eyes as well as on my eyelids as this also makes a great eye-shadow primer. For foundation I am using MAC- Studio Sculpt Foundation, I am using this as it is a full coverage and it makes your skin look as perfect as well my skin could be! For extra coverage on problematic areas like my skin I am going to use a full coverage concealer just so my skin looks clear and flawless. The full coverage concealer I am using is MAC - Studio Finish Concealer.

I am then going to leave my base there and going on to do my eyebrows and my eyes. For eyebrows I am going to start of by using a plain mascara spule and brushing them through so that there neat and so there the shape I want them to be. I am then going to start by lightly filling in my eyebrows with Rimmel - Eyebrow Pencil in 001 Dark Brown - then with an angled brush and MAC - Charcoal Brown Eye shadow I am going to fill my eyebrows so that there are no gaps or sparse areas. To neaten them up and make them stand out I am going to use another angled brush and go around my eyebrows with the same MAC concealer as before ( Studio Finish ) I am then going to use a flat brush and blend it out. I am then going to set my eyebrows so they don't budge with Maybelline - Brow Drama in Dark Brown and this will act like hairspray for your eyebrows!

Moving onto our eyes and I've actually kept them pretty simple. I have already primed my eyes with my collection concealer and I am going to go straight in with Half Baked by Urban Decay this is a gorgeous gold and I'm going to put it all over my lid concentrating the colour in the inner half of my eye. I am then use MAC - Charcoal Brown Eye Shadow in my crease and outer corner for definition. I am then using Maybelline - Eye Studio Gel Liner along my upper lash line and slightly flicking it out but I want it to be very subtle flick. I am of course curling my eyelashes and using Maybelline - Rocket Volume mascara as it gives my lashes volume and holds the curl quite well. This would be the time to apply false lashes which if I where going out I would apply them but in actual fact I was looking after my baby nephew today and he likes to touch your face as it is! Defiantly didn't fancy him pulling lashes off of me! To finish my eyes off I am using Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl in Cocoa Bean in my water line and charcoal brown on a pointed brush to smudge it out and you can't forget to put mascara on your lower lashes!

To finish by base I am going use my YSL - Touché Éclat under my eyes between my eyebrows/ on the centre of my fore head and on my cupid bow and blend it out with my finger to blend it naturally. I am then going to contour with Benefit - Hoola under my cheek bones, temples, corner of my nose and on my chin as well as on my neck. I am then then going to highlight my cheekbones with Soap & Glory's - Solar Powder and I'm going to use the lighter side. For blush I wanted something bright so that it would pick my skin back up so that my face doesn't look completely flat! I am using MAC - Pinch O'Peaches. I am then going to set everything with Rimmel - Stay Matte Powder if you have oily skin your going to want to powder once you've finished using any liquid/ cream products but since I'm just using the powder to help set my make-up I'm just using a touch at the end.

Now all that's left to do is lips! I am using a bright pink which is MAC - Chatterbox which is an amplified finish so the colour will really pop and the colour will also last well. I am normally just a lipstick girl and rarely go for a gloss but I thought I might as well go all out so I am using MAC - Crème Sheen Glass in Boy Bait which is a natural colour so it will tone they lipstick down but it does make a gorgeous colour and you defiantly don't need much of the gloss!

To finish it all off and set it all into place so that nothing moves all day/night I am going to use a few sprays of MAC - Fix+ which will set it in place and thought-out the day or night if you feel really hot then a few sprays of fix+ will definitely cool you down!

I hope you enjoyed this look! I have to say sorry about the photos I originally did the make-up and photos yesterday (trying to be organised) but it got so dark so early and they photos didn't turn out good enough and so I got up super early this morning and re-did the make-up and then when it started to get bright it then started to down pour and it was again super dark and cloudy! So I hope they photos are good enough but I am a total perfectionist and if something isn't to a certain standard I just won't post it - you don't want to know the amount of post I've scrapped because they weren't good enough! I have problems I know! This is going to be my last post of 2013!!! Can you believe its going to be 2014 in two days - it actually scares me. I will be back on New Years Day with another post which I'm really looking forward to writing!

Happy New Year!
What are you doing this New Years Eve?

Counting Till Christmas // Make-Up, Hair & Outfit Ideas for Christmas

For most of us Christmas is a really special time where we spend time with our family and friends some which we may have not seen in a while. With this being said we all want to look our best on Christmas day (or round about that time!) I'm going to share with you what I would wear on Christmas day depending on what I was up to.

Look 1 - Comfy & Casual

Make-Up:

Since the outfit is very simple I wanted my make-up to also be simple and minimal.

Benefit - Porefessional Primer
Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer
Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation
MAC - Pressed Blot Powder
MAC - Mocha Blush
MAC - Charcoal Brown e/s
Maybelline - Brow Drama
Maybelline - The Falsies Mascara
Maybelline - Baby Lips in Peach Kiss

For me this is minimal make-up, no eyeshadow or eyeliner. No bronzer or highlight and I've only used a tinted lip balm! I do however love the look of clear dewy skin, long lashes with a tint of colour on your lips.

Hair:

My hair has been loosely curled with my instyler but I just wrap my hair around the hot barell - I don't close it. This is second day curls which always look nicer as there more relaxed. I have then just left it to do what it wants to!

Outfit:

This is probably more dressy then I'll be I already know what I'm getting for Christmas so I'll probably be wearing my new Hollister jogging bottoms but I'll probably wear this when I go around to my sisters. The festive Elmo t-shirt is from Primark last year but it still looks as good as new since I only wore it about 3 times last year!

Festive T-Shirt - Primark

White Vest Top - Primark

Black Leggings - River Island

Ugg Boots in Chestnut

Look 2 - Casually Smart

Make-Up:

I've added some products to make me look more done up. The products I added to look 1 are...
Benefit - Hoola
Elf - Golden Bronzer
Urban Decay - Foxy, Tease, YDK & Busted
MAC - Embark e/s
Maybelline - Eye Studio Gel Liner in Black
MAC - Angel

I love the look of Bronzer and highlighter it really bumps your look up and gives it a little extra something. I have to say eyeshadow didn't go to plan - Urban Decays Busted just doesn't blend well and just goes really chalky and flakes away so I just used embark from mac to try and correct it. I also used YDK all over my lid and tease as my blending colour - both from the Naked 2 palette. I then lined my upper lash line with Maybelline Gel Liner and did a tiny little wing. For my lips I went with my favourite Angel from MAC.

Hair:

Carrying off from look one all I did with tease my crown, to give my hair some volume. I then pinned back my fringe and  finished it off with some hairspray.

Outfit:

I actually wore this to go out for lunch with some family that I haven't seen in a while. As always I wanted to make an effort but I didn't want to look overdressed. This was perfect and it's also very comfy and smart.

Lace Blouse - H&M

White Vest Top - Primark

Leigh Skinny Jeans - Topshop

Ankle Boots - Aldo

Handbag - Marc by Marc Jacobs

Look 3 - Dressy

Make-up:

Adding from look 1 & 2 all I've done is add some natural false eyelashes and some red lips to add some Christmas-y to the look. I don't really like red lips on myself personally but on others I think it's gorgeous on others.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company - Connie Lashes
Revlon - Colourstay Lip Liner in Red
MAC - Ruby Woo Lipstick

Hair:

There really isn't anything to add I've not changed my from look 2!

Outfit:

If I was going to a Christmas party or for a fancy meal out, this is probably what I'd wear apart from I'd switch the heels out for black heeled ankle boots which I don't currently own! This dress is a very recent addition, I love the cut of the dress it's flattering and lady like.

Dress - Dorothy Perkins

Tights - M&S

Heels - New Look

City Office Handbag - Zara

I hope you enjoyed this, it's not like anything I've ever done before! As you can probably tell I'm not used to taking pictures of my outfits - probably should have cleaned my mirror first as my 11 month nephew likes to stand at them and hit them! If you want to know more about any of the looks then comment below and I'll reply asap.

What are your plans this Christmas?

I Heart Drugstore Make-up TAG with Pretty Little Fashionista

Today I am going to be doing a Tag with Kirsty from PrettyLittle Fashionista, me and Kirsty have done some posts together before but we haven’t done anything in a while and so I thought we have to do something, I came up with some tags and we both liked the idea of the I <3 Drugstore Make-up. The first paragraph is my answer and the second with a K- at the begging is Kirsty’s answer. Hope you enjoy…
1, What is your favourite drugstore make-up brand?

This is rather easy to answer especially as this brand has been on fire recently with new products realises. Rimmel has been amazing within the last six months with bringing out new products from the Apocalips Lip Lacquers to modifying their foundations like Match Perfection which is one of my all-time favourites and will of course be featured in this post.

K - Now this is a really tricky question as I like lots of different products from different brands. If I had to pick I'd probably say Rimmel as I like a whole range of their products from their face products to eye products.
2, What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?

So I’m going to keep this simple by only mentioning to products for each category I know I have restrained myself!) For face products it has to be Rimmel – Match Perfection Foundation, it has a medium coverage, suits my skin tone perfectly which is rare for high street foundations and it leaves my skin looking healthy. The next product has probably featured in almost every single post of this sort but it is well worth it Collection – Lasting Perfection Concealer, enough said! For cheek products I picked Maybelline – Dream Touch Blush – 02 Peach and Natural Collection – Peach Melba both blushes have great pigmentation and look great on. Now this was probably the hardest to narrow myself down to two products as I had originally picked about ten so maybe I will do a post in the future all about my favourite high street lip products! Anyway I have picked Rimmel – Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick – 101 and Revlon – Colourburst Lipgloss – 002 Crystal Lilac, these are both great products that give an amazing finish to my lips (separately!).

K - For concealer and foundation they are both from Rimmel. They are the Wake Me Up foundation and concealer. These are amazing products and work amazingly by themselves but when they are used together they look really lovely. My favourite blusher is the NYC colour wheel in plum passion it is such a lovely colour and love how it looks on my skin. For lip products I have 2 the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey which I wear every day and I have used so much of it. The second product is the Revlon Colourburst lipgloss in Bordeaux which is a new find for me but it has completely converted me. Before I tried it I never used to like glosses as I found that they were sticky and lacked the pigmentation of lipsticks. But Bordeaux isn't sticky and is very pigmented I also find that for a gloss it is very long lasting.
3, Least favourite product?

I am going to mention two products because they are basically the same apart from ones a blush and ones a bronzer. This is a product that you either love or hate – I hate it! And I really don’t understand how anybody could like these products! For some people this is in their “Holy Grail” products!? But for me I only keep it for posts/ questions like this and it has a permanent place in a bag that all my disappointing products go or the bag of disappointment if you will! These are the MUA – Mosaic Blush/ Bronzer, you might wonder what’s wrong with them and well here go’… They are incredibly shimmery, they are rather sheer and the colours aren’t flattering on the skin at all – I have tried this on other skin tones and it has never looked nice. They are cheap that’s about the only positive!

K - I don't like the MUA Shimmer Kiss blusher. I really like the mosaic blush, the single powder and cream blushes, but this blush is horrible. I find that the formulation is really chalky and it feels really cheap. It also has the unpleasant smell of PlayDoh which I personally don't like.
4, What is your best make-up bargain?

My best make-up bargain is from the same brand that my least favourite product is from so that just shows some products just miss the mark. Anyway this is a must for me and I will re-purchase for a long time to come and it is the MUA – Mega Volume Mascara this beauty is only £3 and it gives your eyelashes volume, length and defines them. I love this so much and I always go back to it, it works just as well if not better than the hyped about high end mascaras!

K - My best makeup bargain is the lipsticks from ELF they are only £1.50. They have quite a big range to choose from they have colours ranging from nudes to reds. All of their lipsticks are fantastic quality and last quite a reasonable amount of time. They aren't drying either which is a common problem I find in cheaper lipsticks

5, What is your favourite underdog product?
(Something you love that often gets overlooked?)

This without a doubt has to be the Soap & Glory – Supercat Liquid Black Eyeliner Pen, I swear this is amazing it’s pigmented, lasts all day, is easy to use and is just an overall great product. It’s only around the £5 mark and I would recommend this to anybody wanting a black liquid liner whether you’re new at make-up or if you’re an experienced make-up artist – just try it!

K - This has to me by single eyeshadow by Bourjois in the shade Tabac Blond. Not many people talk about Bourjois but when they do they talk about the foundations. No one ever seems to mention the eyeshadows which in my opinion are amazing. They are really pigmented and very blendable. I definitely recommend their eyeshadows another plus is the packaging is super cute.

6, A drugstore product that is overpriced?

This was quite tricky as if the products has been too expensive I have just not bothered getting it, but when I was doing my research for this I discovered I paid £8.19 for L’Oreal – Rouge Caresse Lipstick – 101 Tempting Lilac. Now I do like this product but the texture and finish is much more of a lip butter or a highly pigmented lip balm than a lipstick however I do still love it.

K - I personally think the Revlon lip butters are overpriced. I love the lip butters but I feel that £7.99 is quite expensive for what they are. Some of the colours in the range aren't fantastic especially the lighter shades which come out patchy. If they were priced at £5 I think that would be a more reasonable price.

7, Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!!

I’m going to share with you two dupes both for your face – ones a face powder and the other is a highlighting concealer. I love my MAC – Mineralized Skin Finish Natural but even though I love it I dis like the price tag! So I decided to give a go at a pressed powder that everyone was talking about and that was really cheap this would be Rimmel – Stay Matte Pressed Powder, I personally think there very similar as they are both light powders that can be built up without looking cakey or powdery especially since I have dry skin and I don’t need a powder to control excess oil on my skin as well there is none! My next dupe is for the YSL – Touché Éclat I again loved this product but dis liked the price tag, especially since I do like to use a highlighting concealer under my eye most days especially when I have slept well, so therefore I needed a product that was cheaper as I felt I was wasting my gorgeous gold pen of magic so that put me onto the search for a highlighting concealer and well long story short I found Maybelline- Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer. First of this is darker than my Touché Éclat and next time I will get the lighter shade but they both give a similar effect. It is really easy if you do your research to find dupes for high-end products as the high end brands also own the cheaper brands so the products are very similar you just need to do your re-search.

K - This has to be MUA's Undressed palette not only is it a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette it is a fantastic palette on its own. The colours are really pigmented and are great to work with. Another good dupe is the ELF contouring kit in St Lucia which is a dupe for the Nars Orgasm and Laguna duo. The quality of the blush and bronzer is very good and for £3.75 it's a steal.

8, Drugstore product that isn’t worth the hype?
This is really difficult to answer as I just can’t think of a product that has a lot of hype around it that didn’t live up to my expectations so I am going to go back to my answer for question three and say I really can’t understand how anyone could like the Mua – Mosaic Blush – 3 English Rose and Mua – Mosaic Bronzer in 2 Sunkissed Glow. It just baffles me!

K - This is going to be extremely controversial but I don't think the Rimmel Apocalips are worth the hype. I bought the shade Big Bang and I've been extremely disappointed. Everyone has raved about how good they are and I don't think that they live up to the hype. They smudge easily and often end up on my teeth and I can't understand why anyone would like them. Perhaps it's the concept I don't like seen as everyone else seems to love them or perhaps I'm applying them wrong either way they didn't live up to the hype.
I hope you enjoyed, this was quite interesting as I was able to have a rummage in my collection and I found some things I forgot I had! So this was almost like a shopping my stash kind of post! I’m sure me and Kirsty will do more posts together soon. Do you like any of the products mentioned?

♥ Everyday Eye Make-up #1 ♥

Hello, how are we all today? Today I am going to share with you the eye make up that I have been loving recently and have been wearing all the time. For this look I use gold and different tones of brown eyeshadow along with black liquid liner along the lash line and full eyelashes. I have to say this is quite a full and almost glamorous eye make-up for day to day, so that I don't look over done I normally keep the rest of my face looking very natural so not a lot of foundation and keeping blush and lipstick a neutral tones pink. So lets get into it...

- I always start off priming my eyelids I normally use Urban Decay Primer Potion but since I ran out I have been using my concealer Collection - Lasting Perfection concealer and that's been doing the exact same job as what the primer potion do ! So I'm not going to rush out and re-purchase one just now. I put this all over my eyelid to cover any discolouration or vains and it also helps the products stick and last longer.

-  I am now going to use Rimmel - Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Stick in 002 Bulletproof Beige, I normally put this all over my eyelid and then I blend it out - this is just a base for the gold eyeshadow.

- I then use the gold eyeshadow out of the Sleek - Storm Palette, I love this gold it's very pigmented and is gorgeous all over your eye lid.

- I then use Tease from the Urban Decay - Naked 2 palette on the outer quarter of my eye lid and also in my crease. Then using Snakebite from the same palette and using that in my crease and on my lower lash line.

- I am a girl that loves her eyeliner, I normally wear liquid liner along my upper lash line and well this hasn't changed any. I am using Soap and Glory - Supercat Liquid Liner, this is an amazing eye liner it lasts all day without wearing out and smudging. I have been using this for a long time and it is finally running out so its not as powerful as it once was so until I get around to buying a new one I am going to set the black liquid liner with Blackout e/s from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. To highlight my brow bone and inner corner I am going to use Foxy from the same Urban Decay Palette.

- I am now curling my eyelashes with my Cosmopolitan - Eyelash Curler and then using my favourite mascara which is Mua - Mega Volume Mascara on my upper and lower lashes.

Brushes/ Tools Used -

Real Techniques - Base Shadow Brush
Urban Decay - Naked 2
Frontcover - Fluff + Buff
MAC - 224
Real Techniques - Brow Brush
MAC - 266
Cosmopolitan - Eyelash Curler

I hope you enjoyed! I love this eye look and these colours go well with most skin tones and the look is also very versatile if you add false eyelashes it would be great for going out or you could tone it down and do it softer if this is to much for day to day.

♥ Leona Lewis Inspired Glitter Make-Up - Perfect for New Year's Eve ♥

Today I am going to show you a make-up tutorial that I am really excited about! If you watch the x factor in the UK, then you might of seen Leona Lewis preforming and well lets just say see looked stunning! I instantly wanted to re-create it and have finally gotten around to putting my own spin on it. I will have a list at the end of the products that Leona's Make-Up artist Jane Bradley used. This make-up is also perfect for New Years as you'll be making a statement looking amazing going into the new year!

I am going to start with my eyes then after doing the glitter I will move on to my face and then go back to my eyes and then onto my lips... make sense? If it does then well done!

- Urban Decay - Primer Potion, all over my eyelids,

- Mac - Haux all over my eyelids,

- Mac - Sketch in my crease,

- I am using Collection - Glam Crystals in 1 Glitz, all over my eyelids. My tips for doing this is take your time start from the inner corner and work outwards, also you need to do it into many layers and do little bits let it dry and go back over it.

- While the Glitter is drying I started my face, I used Benefit PoreFessional as my base,

- I am now concealing anything I didn't like the look of with Mac Pro Longwear Concealer - this has a very full coverage, which is what I wanted as Leona has perfect skin!

-For foundation I am going to use Rimmel - Match Perfection, I am using this as it gives a nice faces and lasts well on the skin.

- To conceal any darkness under my eyes I am using Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting concelar,

- To set everything in place I am going to use Rimmel - Stay Matt pressed powder,

- Now the glitter should be dry were going to go back and darken up the crease with Mac - Sketch,

- Now I am using a gel eyeliner on my upper lash line, I am going to use Mac - Fluidline in Blacktrack,

- I am now curling my eyelashes and applying Benefit's They're Real mascara,

- I am now adding Katy Perry by Eyelure - Oh Honey eyelashes and then adding another coat of mascara to blend my eyelashes,

- I am then using Mac - Sketch on my lower lash line and building it up so that it is quite intense, then adding mascara to my lower eyelashes,

- I am now going to use Benefits - Hoola Bronzer, this is a matt bronzer so is great for contouring which is what I am now going to do. I am also going to take it up to my temples, cheekbones and under my chin. Then using what is left on my brush over the rest of my face,

- For my blush I am going to use Benefit - Sugarbomb, it's not the best for this look but I thought it went well.

- For Highlighting my cheekbones and under my brows I am going to use Benefit - High Beam,

- To fill by brows I am going to start with Rimmel - Eyebrow Pencil in Deep Brown and finish filling them in with Mac -Wedge eyeshadow as Leona has quite defined eyebrows.

- I am going to apply Carmex Lip balm in pink as a base for my lipstick,

- To finish the look I am going to apply Mac - Creme Cup lipstick, this is a cremesheen finish so it gives a bit of shine once applied.
